Symposium
What is symposium?
Every year (in the first semester), we organise a symposium with EMSA. You can expect an engaging evening where various speakers will discuss the same (para)medical topic from their area of expertise. Afterwards, you can continue the conversation with each other over snacks and drinks at the accompanying reception.

What does the symposium working group do?
Working group members:

Find a topic

Find speakers (doctor, paramedic, researcher, physiotherapist, pharmacist)

Promote the event

Attend the event (e.g. take attendance, accompany speakers, take photographs)

Provide a thank-you gift for speakers

Prepare attendance certificates for symposium attendees
Working group leaders:

General: coordinate the working group

Find a topic (discuss with working group)

Find and contact speakers

Reserve venue + arrange catering via UA

Promote event
-
Ensure evening runs smoothly (assign tasks to working group)

Contact treasurer for payment of invoices

Prepare attendance certificates for symposium attendees
