What is Meet Your Doctor?

Meet Your Doctor (MYD) is an annual event organised by EMSA Antwerp in collaboration with Chimes, where medical students have the opportunity to talk to doctors from different disciplines. It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the daily life of a doctor, their motivation and the choices they made in their career.

What does the MYD working group do?

The organisation has an enthusiastic working group, in which everyone can contribute. It is a large project, so the tasks are divided:

- Working group leaders have some extra responsibilities: they schedule the meetings, keep track of everything and ensure that the event itself runs smoothly. They also maintain contact with Chimes and, above all, establish connections with the participating doctors.

- Working group members help with tasks such as finding doctors, arranging student registrations, booking rooms and catering, decorating and providing thank-you gifts for the doctors. You can take on a task alone or do it together with someone else.

With such a large team, there is always a task that suits you, and together we will make this a successful edition!
