Stigma Challenge

Info

Every year on December 1, we celebrate World AIDS Day. Unfortunately, this day goes by unnoticed for many. As a result, the Standing Committee on Reproductive Health and AIDS (SCORA) has started organizing the Stigma Challenge. The purpose of this action is to break the taboo and stigma about HIV and AIDS. The stigma that patients with HIV carry on a daily basis is partly due to ignorance, but mainly to a lack of accurate information in our community. Our goal is to change this.

The Stigma Challenge is a collaboration between various local departments of BeMSA (Belgian Medical Student’s Association). In this instructive and light-hearted way, we try to inform young people and give them the opportunity to make their own decisions about their own body and health.
